Biography
Emily was born in Layton, Utah in 2008. With plenty of time on her hands during childhood years, she took immediate interest in learning about nature through TV shows such as "Wild Kratts" and National Geographic documentaries, and as a young and imaginative child, she communicated her feelings for this world with arts and crafts. This passion has grown exponentially, and she now works on projects weekly as a student at Davis High School. Many of her hobbies include playing the violin, drawing, and going to ballet class. She plans to take her career into Paleontology, the study of fossils. Although with less room to explore different art mediums, Emily still enjoys sketching daily after class, on the bus, and with her free time at home. One of her inspirations for making art is her Grandfather Jim Johnson, a watercolor artist. Jim has spent many years working on his skill and has displayed many of his pieces in different art exhibitions. While looking up to her grandfather, Emily hopes to make an impact on the world through her artwork to build a better connection for everyone to share.
